What to expect.

Your initial appointment will last for 45mins to an hour, you will need to bring shorts and a t-shirt with you, you may be required to undress to your underwear particularly if we need to look at your back or neck as part of your problem. We will endeavour to put you at ease throughout your visit.

We pride ourselves on our patient centred approach, we will provide a comprehensive assessment and educate you on your problem, we will then formulate a treatment programme in partnership with you with jointly agreed goals. This ensures that you understand your problem and play an active role in your rehabilitation; this approach has been shown to be more effective in the long-term management of musculoskeletal problems.

We use a ‘hands on’ approach to treatment applying techniques in joint and soft tissue manipulation in conjunction with exercises to maximise the effect of the treatment. Exercises will be reviewed with feedback and progressed as required on each visit.
