Ellie is a highly experienced musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist with over eight years of clinical practice, including six years specialising in MSK and sports injury management. She currently supports elite youth athletes as a casual academy physiotherapist with Manchester United Football Club, where she provides evidence-based rehabilitation and pitch-side emergency care. Her recent experience includes international tournament work with the MUFC U19 squad.
Ellie recently completed her Master’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine from Manchester Metropolitan University with a distinction and also qualified as an injection therapist. She brings a wealth of knowledge from both the NHS and elite sporting environments to help support individuals to achieve their goals. She combines clinical reasoning with hands-on treatment, tailored rehabilitation, and the use of specialist tools, such as force plates, for informed return-to-play decisions. Her approach is collaborative, holistic, and firmly rooted in current best practice. A published author in the British Medical Journal and an active conference participant, Ellie is passionate about continuous learning and high-quality, patient-centred care.
Ellie has a diverse sporting interest, having represented the County, North-West, and participated in the National Gymnastics Championships, alongside playing competitive hockey for a local team.
