Since graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University, Will has worked in several areas of practice within the NHS, including Musculoskeletal Medicine, Rheumatology, Cardiology, and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation. Will now works in a senior role as a Musculoskeletal Specialist, and also as a clinical educator, helping to train the next generation of Physiotherapists.

Will’s passion, however, lies within sports injury rehabilitation. As a previous recipient of the Physiotherapy Sports Prize, Will has a strong clinical interest in the treatment and management of injuries in both runners and cyclists, and has experience working with Olympic and World Championship level athletes. Will is keen to help rehabilitate people of all abilities and he gains huge satisfaction from enabling his clients to get back to doing what they love the most; whether that’s international competition or just walking the dog!

Will has also completed his training as a Retül bike fitter, and now also has an active role in providing the bike fitting and 3D motion capture analysis service at Worsley Physiotherapy clinic; his strong background in sports injury management has helped Will shape this service towards both the performance-orientated cyclist, and the cyclist who is returning from or managing an injury.

​Outside of work, Will is a competitive distance runner and Duathlete who’s accolades include several County Championship titles, numerous race wins, and holds PB's of 2hr 27mins for the marathon and 14:46 for 5k. He also spends an unusual amount of time fiddling with his many bicycles and trying to learn to play various musical instruments!
